Unique New Jersey

Nothing takes the place of learning photography first hand.  This Saturday, June 26th a sold-out class on photography will take place in New Jersey through Unique Photo.  Through the wonderful support and sponsorship of Sony I will give a one day seminar on the art and joy of photography.  There I will speak about my passion for creating images and share idea on how others can make better photographs.

After the speaking segment all the students will have an opportunity to photograph models in a 10,000 sq ft. loft studio and learn lighting secrets to improve their photography.  We will have models, lights and I will use my Sony A900 to guide the students through the process.  See you in New Jersey soon!

Always Dream Big!

i loved today's class. Just one question: how did you do the lighting for romancing the stone with the mirror with out getting the ugly burst of light

Michael, just want to say what a great experience it was to attend the class. Beyond the techniques, I think it was great to learn about the thought process to make that great photo session. Looking forward to attending your other sessions.

Matthew, I enjoyed your class/workshop so much. Thank you for coming to New Jersey to work with us. Thank you to Sony for sponsoring. Thank you to Unique Photo for hosting. I learned so much.

Oh, and I found out why people in New Jersey cannot enter contests like the National Geographic contests...New Jersey does not "allow operation of a skill contest that requires an entry fee." So I can go to Atlantic City & throw all the money I want into "games of chance", but I can't do something that recognizes skill because it has a $15 entry fee. So annoyed...and here I was just about to go buy a NJ lottery ticket.

Looking forward to learning more via your blog and Twitter.

I truly enjoyed time with everyone! Thank you so much. Kalpesh, the lighting for the romancing the stone is a bit hard to explain here but is in full detail via the Ten Ways to Use Natural Light at www.Gallery.MatthewJordanSmith.com

Thanks again everyone!
